Things I promise to do this weekend:
1) get a pic on the blog of my new hair from the front
2) take more pics of Josh!! Last weekend was so busy that I didn't even take ONE!! Naughty mommy!
I better stop there before I make promises that I can't keep.
Plans for this weekend: tonight we're going to Melissa and Paul's for dinner to celebrate Paul's new job.
Speaking of jobs.... I got a promotion! My new title is Compliance Manager. This has been in the works soooo long (like over a year...) that I never thought it would actually happen. Last July I got the additional license that I needed after studying from March through July (it was hard because I was preggers and so SICK!!). Anyway, YAY ME! :)
Saturday I'm going to a surprise party... I won't mention for who... She doesn't read my blog anyway so I'm pretty safe.
On Sunday, Josh and I will be going to visit his great-great grandmother. Josh has TWO great-great grandmothers!! Pretty lucky little dude. Anyway, this is my mom's, dad's mother who I call "Grammy B'Nell." It's Grammy B'Nells birthday, so a bunch of family is going down there to take her out to lunch.
Sleep update: I do believe that Josh is teething and it's effecting his sleep. Most every night this week I gave him "nummy gummy" or baby tylenol before bed and he slept better (only getting up once or twice). Wednesday night he didn't seem like his teeth were bothering him before bed so I didn't treat him with either the nummy gummy or tylenol and he was up four times.

Favorite book: "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" & "Thumper Counts to Ten"
Fave activity: playing outside, playing in water, going to the beach, playing in sand.
Fave food: fruit! Blueberries, apples, bananas, pears, canned fruit, mandarin oranges. (yep, still fruit!) He is also way into nutrigrain cereal bars (he can even say "bar")
Teeth: April was a big teething month, I *think* he has 16 teeth now (he doesn't really like me looking or feeling around in there)
Vocab: HUGE! He repeats everything you say.
Crawling: never. Always walking
Walking: first steps on 11/22

- We're the Perry family! We live in Waldoboro, Maine. Here's our story: Devon and Dave met in October 1996 when Devon was just a wee teenager of 15 years. We've been together ever since! In between then and now, Devon earned a BS in Finance from Thomas College and Dave earned a BS is Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. A few months after graduation, we bought our first house (at the height of the housing "bubble" we might add...) which is still a work in progress and we hope to sell it by summer 2010. A couple months after the house purchase and after 8 years of dating, we got married! Our family is growing: first we adopted Tobey the labradoodle in May 2005 and bouncing baby boy Joshua was born November 9, 2007.
