This is our fifth summer in this house and I have never noticed that we have a raspberry bush! Josh is a huge berry freak and picked it clean one night after dinner this week. He loves all berries. Earlier this summer, he had a blueberry addiction and would say "blue" or "bear-bear" when he wanted some. Recently I learned that "bear-bear" could also mean strawberries or raspberries too. Or even grapes. He saw some green grapes in the fridge and said "green bear-bears" and pointed to the grapes. He was just a little confused. He knows grapes for sure! We also had some Oreo truffles in the fridge and he called those "bear bears" too... I suppose anything round and one inch in diameter or less is a berry!
In other "Josh is amazing" news - he can count to 6! I don't think he completely understands the concept of numbers, but he can recite back up to six pretty consistently. Yes, there are times that he starts off "two, four, five, six, seven, one, two, one, two, one, two, three" He loves to count.
